Social Media and Wine. How do you discover new wineries and tasting experiences? With a multitude of apps out there, it’s difficult to choose a favorite. Our customers love WineryFinder, it’s easy to use, and has special offers for those that use the app! Here are some of our other favorite sites and apps that are great to have within reach:

Snooth.com is an excellent website for both wine novices and aficionados. They provide a wealth of information and interesting articles on all aspects of the industry.

Vivino This app has you take a photo of a wine label and connects to an info page about the wine and winery it came from. Perfect for when you’re dining out and want to remember what you liked throughout the evening! It’s a great place to find customer reviews rather than industry reviews.

WineryGeek Another great way to discover local wineries based on your tastes.

WhichWinery.com This is a brand new website is fun, informative, and designed with user friendliness in mind! Find wineries all around the world and discover new favorites. We are proud to be a part of it!

The next show is on July 26th and will feature French Fusion band Dgiin (pronounced ‘gin’). Combining styles of funk to reggae, they are all about high energy, danceable, fun music! We hope to see you there!

4th of July BBQ ideas!
A rich balsamic glaze is the perfect way to take your next BBQ to the next level. Among our balsamics, is our 25 year and a 15 year. Typically a 25 year is much sweeter in taste, and has a ton of flavor; you only ever need a few drops!

Grill Asparagus Recipe

AsparagusOut here in California, one of the biggest signs that summer has arrived is seeing fresh asparagus in the grocery store! Our very own Tasha Cohn has a delicious recipe for grilled asparagus with our Meyer Lemon Olive Oil:

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound large asparagus, woody ends trimmed
  • 3 tbsp B.R. Cohn Meyer Lemon Olive Oil, plus more for drizzling
  • ¾ tsp Kosher salt
  • ¼ tsp freshly ground pepper
  • ½ lemon sliced

Directions:
Preheat grill to Medium.
Combine asparagus with Meyer Lemon Olive Oil, salt, and pepper and toss to coat.
Place asparagus on the grill in a single layer and cook, turning, until marked and tender. About 12 to 15 minutes.
Transfer to a serving platter, drizzle with Meyer Lemon Olive Oil and garnish with sliced lemon.
