If you’ve visited our Gourmet Shop before, you will have seen the vast array of vinegars we have for sampling. This is a great opportunity to taste a lot of different types and discover new favorites! But it can be a bit hard on your taste buds. The trick? Sugar cubes!
That’s right, pouring vinegar right onto a sugar cube helps cut some of the acidity but the flavor remains. This makes it a lot easier to taste a larger number so you can find what you really like.
How to:
- Pour the desired vinegar over a sugar cube
- Suck the vinegar out (try not to eat the sugar)
- Start with the wine vinegars and lead up to the aged balsamics
